Ngorongoro Crater,  is part of the Ngorogoro Conservation area, and it is home to the world’s largest volcanic caldera. The park is an important area for the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelles, which makes it an excellent place for wildlife viewing.  Year around animals big and small, pass through the crater on their way to and from the Serengeti and Tarangire making it their temporary home and resting place.

Ngorongoro Crater is home to several critically endangered black rhinoceros. The park rangers keep a close eye on them to prevent poaching. So be on the look out and you might get lucky enough to see a few as you traverse the park.

The abundant wildlife will make it hard to know which way to point the camera, as you take in the view of zebra and wildebeest grazing side by side and maybe even spot the lions tracking their prey. Contact us today to let us help you planning your Tanzanian Safari.
